Matt Pinyan

Matt joined the Brooklyn office of ARCHITECTUREFIRM in 2017 as its first team member and became an Associate in 2022. During his time at AF, Matt has managed the design & construction of several private residences as well as the Arts & Letters Creative Co. headquarters in Richmond, Virginia; currently he is leading development of the firm's multi-family and mixed-use projects in North Carolina and a large residential project in the Adirondacks. Matt earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University in 2011 and a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia in 2013 where he was awarded the Henry Adams Medal.  Prior to working at AF, Matt taught at the University of Virginia and practiced at CDR Studio in New York and vir.mueller architects in New Delhi, India.
