Majd Soudi

Majd spent his formative years in Amman, Jordan where he experienced contextually and historically rich architecture that told a story. He got his bachelors degree in architecture from Virginia Tech where he focused on the narrative of place, telling stories of his Palestinian heritage through the built environment. He made his move to Richmond in 2019, working at smbw architects on projects ranging in scale and program. Some projects of note are VPM’s HQ in downtown Richmond and the Pamunkey Cultural Resource Center located on the Pamunkey Indian Reservation, both projects currently in construction. Majd enjoys team sports and on a sunny day you’ll likely find him at an open field kicking the soccer ball around with his friends and team mates.
